Lion Rubber - Cylindrical Fenders

Rotor Motive represents Lion Cylindrical Fenders which have protected ships and wharves for many years. Cylindrical fenders offer simplicity in installation and offers the most economical solution to many fendering problems. They offer versatility in installation and can be mounted horizontally, vertically and diagonally. They are ideal for wharves, jetties, bow and stern for harbour tug boats.

As per the requirement of the length fender it can be chuted in one or more sections/ lengths. When there are multiple lengths spigots or connector plugs are used for installation. Also PRE-CURVED fenders can be supplied.

Lion Cylindrical fenders can be easily mounted on the hull of the ship with the help of longitudinal chain and is known as suspended installation and is also additionally supplemented by webbing shops preferably nylon or steeled chains which fit in special grooves provided therein. The ends of the fender can be tapered to get a body blend connection to the hull of the vessel.

D Type Fenders

Lion D Type Fenders are used for tugs, barges, workboats and pilot boats as side belting and protective fenders against heavy rubbing, brushing forms. These D type fenders display a higher energy absorption capacity, thus minimizing deface contact. These fenders can also be mounted on quays as by means of anchor belts. Lion D type fenders are supplied with D hole rounded hollow or solid. Long length D fenders can be supplied to match the Aft or Bow radius.

W & M Type Fenders

Lion W Type Fenders are installed on to the bow and the aft portions of ocean going tugs, to protect the hull of the vessel against damages caused during pushing and pulling operations /towage. These fenders are installed in similar manner as key hole fenders.

Key Hole Fenders

Lion Key Hole Fenders are used as an alternative to W-fenders in case of extremely heavy loads. The keyhole cross-section is very tough but can be curved around the hull. Fixing / mounting is very simple with this type of fender.
